I currently have a gigabyteGA-F2A88XM-D3H board with an AMD A10-6800K. This was non what i had originally every bit i swapped all my components except for my HDD over half a yr ago. Originally i had an ASUS M11BB desktop which had an AMD A8-6500.
Whilst typing this i tried the graphic driver restart and that seems promising, although i will check to see if that fixes the effect after a full system restart. If non i will go down the listing and endeavour your other options and requite you a respond if im still stuck.

if y'all get into Nvidia Control Panel, become to "Adjust Video Color Settings", check "With Nvidia Settings:" and use full dynamic range, and disable "dynamic dissimilarity enhancement." Restart computer and voila!! No more dimming on dark pages/programs!

Read a similar thread on a nvidia forum, i dont have the dynamic contrast enhancement option, using total range made niggling divergence aswell, and checking/unchecking the 'with the nvidia settings; option fabricated no difference either.
forgot to mention that i tried that in the question.

Besides i dont take any AMD graphics software installed equally i am now using an nvidia card.
